Programming Enthusiast Newbie
Engineering physics bachelor, specialized in instrumentation and automation. Love learning new things and now I'm really into programming. But to your surprise, I work as an analyst at Indonesian Customs and Excise Laboratory, having direct contact with chemistry on a daily basis. Engineering Physics Learn many things related to aspects of physics and technology or one can say it as multidiscipline study, pursuing the ability to become a "bridge" in other technical fields. But that doesn't mean I don't have specific expertise. In my final year, I'm deeply captivated in instrumentation and automation, as my final project is about building inertial navigation system for short-ranged missile. Best acknowledgements I gave to my supervisor lecturer, Prof. Dr. Ir. Harijono A. Tjokronegoro DEA for his guides in every single week and my final project partner, the patient and understanding one Hilmy Hanif. 😊

Senior High School As the name suggest, it's a dormitory school located in Sragen, Central Java, Indonesia. It's relatively new school, when I entered it, there's only my senior but no alumni. Eventhough it was new, my school broke some records such as the fastest school with the most olympiad champion (no joke, here's the link). There, I had so much splendid memories and great friends, as we lived in the same dorm for three years straight with phone, laptop even internet access being restricted by the school's rules. Endless thanks for all the sincere teachers, especially the foreign teachers who chose to live in country side of Sragen. And I have to thank the school and the Sragen government for the scholarship given, covering all the expenses like tuition, dorms, three times a day meals, laundry, books, uniforms, insurance, etc.

Junior High School Well, not much that I can think of to share here, but I have vivid memories about my physics teacher who taught me physics all out. Her name is Isnaingsih, I called her Bu Iis. She is the one who convinced me and motivates me a lot to learn physics. She prepared me for competing in national science olympiad, even she gave me so many free extra lessons until gratefully I got bronze medal. Even she covered all the financial needed to join competitions like transportation and accomodation. Huge love and thanks for Bu Iis.

Python and Web Development At some point, I had the feeling of stagnant life. Well, I feel like I shouldn't just waste my fruitful youth time of the life. Some little research done and I got interested in programming. So I decided need to learn some. This web is just a little of its taste. After programming, might even attracted to learn a bit of mandarin language.

Samapta Bea Cukai The gate training for becoming customs and excise officer. Taught about discipline, order of command, navigation, rappelling and running down, shooting and weapons unloading etc. Maybe the hardest one is lying down, gave my bare back (literally bare back without any piece of cloth or any kind of separator) to the hot asphalt road during high noon.

Latsar (Basic Training) General training to enter the civil servant, especially Indonesian Ministry of Finance (Yes, Customs and Exicse Directorate General is under Ministry of Finance). Learnt about accountability, nasionalism, public ethics, and also Ministry of Finance's civil servant values (integrity, professionalism, sinergy, service and perfection). The cool challenge from this training is to make some innovation to our office, it can be new procedure or more efficient and effective process business. That's when we got the ticket and trust to make scalable and relatively significant improvement to our office.

Rappelling Helicopter Maybe one of the unforgettable training I've ever had. How did I get into this kind of stuff? Well you may not know but in Indonesian universities, we have extra optional activities provided by the campus. One of them is called resimen mahasiswa (student regiment), abbreviated as Menwa, where we get military dicipline training from the Indonesian Army. Long story short, we need to perform on the yearly welcoming event of new students. That year, we decided rapelling from helicopter is a cool stuff that can make them interested in joining us. So yeah, we contact and ask permissions here and there, do all the procedure and administrative work to get permitted to this training. You can watch the original video here or below. Go to min 2:15 for the helicopter rappelling part.

Trainer Course (Suspelat/Kursus Pelatih) Training to be a trainer. As I mentioned above, Menwa ITB requires some phyisical and mental condition. Not everyone who sign up to join Menwa got accepted. They got tested and trained first, and the gate they have to pass is the Basic Education and Training (Diklatsar/Pendidikan dan Latihan Dasar). So this training is to prepare me to be the trainer in Diklatsar. Here, I was taught about psychology of teaching and giving orders and basic medical treatment.

Basic Education and Training (Diklatsar/Pendidikan dan Latihan Dasar) The gate training for entering Menwa. Three days survival, 100 km longmarch on every kind of road (you mention it, cities road, village road, railway, swamp, river, coast) and a lot of other hard works, not to mention the under pressure situation. Every things I did here, made my life felt a lot easier afterward.
